Andrea Bowen (born Andrea Bowen) is an American actor from the United States. She started her acting career on Broadway musicals, such as Les Miserables and The Sound of Music. Then she began playing the character of Julie Mayer in the ABC comedy drama series Desperate Housewives. This role was regularly played until the year in 2008. Julie Alexandra Mayer's parents are Susan Delfino (mother) and Karl Mayer. Julie was Susan's most loved daughter as she grew older. She would often be seen as her partner in their relationship. She would cook and cleaning up for Susan. Julie even provided relationship advice to Susan. Andrea Bowen played Amy on the Station 19 season 5 episode "All I Have for Christmas Is You".
